Grateful for YOU!

Giving gratitude keeps our spirits up and cultivates a sense of peace and mental well-being. I have been honoring an “attitude of gratitude” as a positive way to start the day, no matter what life may throw my way. This month I wanted to give thanks for all of our WildPlum customers who support small businesses in Steamboat.

Steamboat Community

At WildPlum we enjoy meeting locals and visitors, second home owners and mountain employees. Everyone has a different reason for stopping by WildPlum, but all are equally important to us. Without local support, we couldn’t survive the off-season. By offering locally crafted goods, WildPlum supports other small entrepreneurs and gives our customers options they can’t find at the larger chain stores.

Here are two local products entrepreneurs that we are proud to support by carrying their products. We hope you will give them a try!

Local Colorado Whiskey

Warrior Whiskey was developed by founder Nathan Newhall. As a former U.S. Navy Seal, Nathan wanted to give back to veterans, so he developed Warrior Whiskey as a military tribute with a portion of every sale going directly to veteran organizations. Locally made and supporting community members, now that’s what we call a double shot of Goodness Elevated™! This local Colorado Whiskey is available in-store as well as for delivery.

Bee Grateful Honey Caramels

Heather and Jason Rodriguez of Bee Grateful Farms are the dynamic duo behind the best caramels you will ever taste! The caramels are crafted from 100% local honey, harvested in Steamboat Springs. No artificial sweeteners or additives are used, resulting in a delicious sweet treat that oozes Steamboat goodness.

Each purchase helps our planet because the packaging is biodegradable or compostable. The wrappers are made from tree pulp (cello) and the bags are a combination of tree pulp cello and kraft paper. Bee Grateful Farms also gives back to the bees with every purchase by creating pollinator habitats that are protected from pesticides, herbicides and other chemicals that threaten pollinators. Another double dose of Goodness Elevated™!

Ending with another heartfelt thank you from all of us at WildPlum. We are grateful to be serving this community and bringing Goodness Elevated™ to Steamboat, every day! Hope to see you soon.
